Bio

I am a Indiana University graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Game design with a minor in Japanese history. Although I have experience as a programmer and a 3D artist, I have decided to focus my skills into Level / System design.

During my Junior year of high school, I was accepted into the Web design team/class and was able to learn code on my own. The Web design class helped me obtain manager skills, leadership skills, as well as giving me the chance to grasp an understanding of programming syntax and limitations. This was my first experience with any sort of coding. Since then I have worked in an Informatics lab to build technology in clothing as well as a smoke alarm that could recognize the difference between cigarette smoke and hazardous fire smoke. From there I finally began coding for games and found that coding was not where my passion was, it was the design of the level and how the player interacted with the environment.

I am a determined and a dedicated individual. My dedication can be seen through my loyalty to BPA (Business Professionals of America) and DECA (A business club) by winning the district competitions, in both, each year. As well as my integration into Hoosier Games, a student lead club that builds games from scratch. Joining Hoosier Games allowed me to work with a team of students in a similar position to me, with a passion for making games, and gave me insight into the games industry.

I have managed small teams, managed public projects, created many games, organized many game design documents, volunteered my time to help the community in Indianapolis and in Bloomington, as well as lead the lessons for my high school’s physics club.
